Extenze Reviews

Does Extenze Work?

In our research we found that the herbal male enhancement remedy Extenze uses a weak blend of ingredients, a potentially unsafe ingredient, has an F rating with the BBB and has a lot of negative customer complaints overall, mostly tied with a scam-like business practice. For these reasons we do not recommend this product to help with your sexual performance.

One of the main ingredients in ExtenZe is DHEA. This is supposed to increase testosterone and therefore increase libido and help with stronger erections. According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DHEA) these statements have been proven false by a double blind clinical trial. DHEA does not increase testosterone and does not help with male sexual health. According to the American Journal of Sports Medicine, DHEA could increase estrogen levels in men.

The supplement also uses a small amount of Yohimbe, an African tree bark that the FDA has deemed potentially unsafe and is illegal to sell in some countries. This is because of the negative reactions some people have to it; these reactions include heart palpitations, increase in blood pressure, aggression, pounding heart, restlessness, fever, feeling like fainting, hallucinations and more.

To make up for these short falls ExtenZe has gotten the endorsements of a medical doctor, a Nascar driver (Kevin Conway) and a former SuperBowl champion (Jimmy Johnson.) They have previously aired television commercials features porn star Ron Jeremy.

Extenze promotes itself as a ‘Natural Male Enhancement” formula which is meant to help with men’s sexual health but much of the advertising seems to focus on penis enlargement which is impossible to do through supplements. In fact, Extenze used to claim that its pills grew the human penis by 27%. They no longer do this because they were forced to pay the district Attorney office of Orange Country $200,000. Not only this, but after many complaints to the BBB, the same attorny’s office found Extenze lead content was beyond safe limits.

Reviews and controversy

A simple Google search for Biotab  Nutraceuticals Inc gives the top result as Complaintsboard.com and 5th result as Ripoffreport.com. Both sites filled with customers complaining they are not satisfied with Extenze. The majority of the issues seem to focus on the business practice based on their ‘free trial’ or ‘money back guarantee.’

On their website the company advertises a ‘free trial’ of their product. The website claims you just pay 97c and try the product for 7 days. When you sign up for this you are signed up for an auto-billing scheme that automatically ships a full 30-day supply to you after the 7 days and charges you for it. It then automatically ships (and bills for) the same amount every month.

When the customer attempts to get a refund they are told that the guarantee does not cover the order they made.

Here is one customer’s experience:

“My husband called to “try” this product…..didn’t work for him. They keep charging our account even though we’ve returned all of the items weeks ago, in the time frame, we have yet to see a refund.

Attempts to cancel the “subscription” via email (which is indicated on the invoces) don’t work. They’ve just charged us again. The only way I can think to stop it is to cancel Hubby’s card and get a new one reissued.

The porno flicks were an extra surprise that he wasn’t expecting either….again….no refund. When I called them, I was told maybe we could use them as……STOCKING STUFFERS!!!

Classless…..I wonder how effective a class-action lawsuit should be.”

Is Extenze a scam?

Eztenze uses an auto-shipping scheme, a low potency of ingredients, some ineffective and others potentially dangerous and has had a huge amount of customer complaints issues, giving them an F rating according to the BBB.
