Does Enzyte Work?
Enzyte is best known for the ‘Smiling Bob’ commercials that used to be on television a few years ago. The ads advertised it as a ‘natural male enhancement’ supplement. This led many to believe it helped increase the size of your penis. The website doesn’t try to dissuade from this; only mentioning ‘harder erections’ once. There is no pill in production today that can increase the size of your penis.
In terms of other forms of male enhancement including harder and longer lasting erections, we believe that Enzyte would be effective. We do not recommend Enzyte for a variety of reasons that we will list in further sections.
Enzyte uses a proprietary blend of herbs to get the desired result. These include horny goat weed, which is an all natural aphrodisiac that farmers discovered when their goats started mating immediately after eating the herb and L-arginine which has been proven in clinical trials to help with male enhancement. The supplement itself has no documented evidence of it’s effectiveness and has not had any double blind clinical trials performed on it.

Enzyte has a long history of customer complaints that led to the company being forced to pay out $2.5 million to disgruntled customers in a class action lawsuit.
“Smiling Bob may have been happy, but many customers were not,” said California Attorney General Bill Lockyer.
“The defendants violated consumer protection laws that rest on a simple principle: businesses must deal with people fairly and honestly. This settlement will prevent further violations and compensate consumers harmed by the defendants’ practices.”
A major issue in this lawsuit was the ‘free trial’ program the company offered. Like many others in this industry the company advertised a ‘free trial’ where the customer only has to pay for shipping. But when the customer signed up for this they were automatically enrolled in an auto ship program.
Even though the lawsuit is long past, the company still seems to be taking part in a similar business practice. The website advertises a 20 day supply for 9.99 but when you sing up you are automatically enrolled in a three month auto ship program.
The company currently has an F rating with the BBB and the major complaints boards have many unsatisfied customers commenting on the company. One even had an employee’s opinion:
“Before you buy from this company, please be aware it a horrible company. The pills are herbs that can be bought at any drugstore for a fraction of the cost. The employees have scripts to read, and it is our job to try to sell you everything but the kitchen sink. After selling as much worthless crap pills to you as possible, then we MUST pitch a Direct Discount Club scam, and THEN, a 3 day Cruise !! All because Vianda and managers make money from these. Employess are treated horribly. No benefits, not one! There is hardly ever towels or toilet paper in the bathrooms. No office supplies, we must bring our own. Overcrowded, horrible conditions we must endure everyday! Most people I know who work there hate it!!! But in these times, you sometimes have to take what you get for the paycheck. It is a horrible company to work for, and do business with. They will take your money, and good luck getting a refund!!! Please stay away!!!”
Is it a scam?
Though the company’s business practices are not technically illegal they are somewhat malicious. The ingredients may be effective but we recommend looking for a more trustworthy company to help with your male enhancement needs.
